When you find your body in the future?
"When you find your body in the future is a project consisting of video, sculpture, and performance that explores how the human body and its occupied spaces are constrained by social norms. The work examines how the body transforms and is repressed over time, seeking to establish a space for new identities and social movements by excavating bodies in a dystopian future. Through apocalyptic yet humorous sculptures, texts, videos, and installations, the project creates imagined future artifacts. The performances delve into the processes through which the human body and its surrounding space are suppressed by societal standards. This speculative fictional world is layered with multiple meanings, simultaneously narrating the lives of objects and beings while serving as a metaphor for human-made systems and the marginalized human experience.
