The Gate of Modern Hell
‘Contemporary Inferno’:
"The Gate of Modern Hell: Contemporary Inferno," aims to capture the ongoing cycle of power struggles in modern society, where people trample on one another in the process. The project exposes its findings through sculptures and still photos, delving into the concepts of "power between spaces" and "individual annihilation based on societal standards" via the body and ideological spaces.

Similarly to the statement made by Edward Soja, "Space produces power," the apartment is the contemporary equivalent of hell, where people are punished by stepping on each other within the confines of the apartment. Through the replacement of physical space with intellectual space and the symbolic use of power structures, the project draws attention to the emergence of a new kind of modern warfare. It seeks to provide viewers a more ultimate reality than the reality by taking them on a philosophical and visual journey into the complex dynamics of the continuous struggle within society.
